TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Ltd, in partnership with Nafasi Art Space, continues to roll out the 2025 VIA Creative Program, a youth-centered initiative designed to nurture creativity while instilling road safety awareness in students.
This year, the VIA Creative project has reached the city of Dodoma, where today TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Ltd visited Mnandani Primary School. During the visit, students from the school who were selected as road safety ambassadors had the opportunity to educate their fellow students using the knowledge they gained through the VIA program.
Additionally, the students presented their opinions and suggestions on how to improve road safety in their communities, showcasing the outcomes of their learning since the project began in July this year.
Through this program, students not only gain knowledge but are also empowered to become ambassadors of positive change within their communities.
Currently, participating schools from various regions across the country are preparing for the National Competition, scheduled to take place on October 13, 2025. At this stage, schools will compete using various forms of art including painting, poetry, and drama, to present innovative solutions to road safety challenges.
Ms. Getrude Mpangile, Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs at TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Ltd, stated: “At TotalEnergies, we believe road safety is everyone’s responsibility. Empowering our youth is the foundation for long-term change. The VIA Creative program gives students a voice and inspires them to use their creativity to envision safer communities. Seeing students from Dodoma participate for the first time is a source of pride, and we believe they will continue to drive impactful solutions.”
