AND ANOTHER ONE! THE LAUNCH OF TOTALENERGIES KIGAMBONI SERVICE STATION.

Following the booming success of the TotalEnergies DODO (Dealer Owned, Dealer Operated) program, on 22nd June 2022, TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Limited launched another DODO station in Kibada in the prescence of Kigamboni District Administrative Secretary, Honorable James Mkumbo, executive customers and partners as well as TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Ltd Management and employees.  

TotalEnergies Kigamboni Service Station is wholly owned by a Tanzanian businessman, Mr. Mohammed Saleh Afiff and operated in partnership with TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania through the DODO.

Speaking during the event, the Network Operations Manager, Thomas Meitaroni expressed the company’s enthusiasm for launching another DODO station and the first TotalEnergies service station in Kigamboni, "We are very happy and proud to launch a new DODO station today, where it is merely a month since we had the launch of a DODO station in Mapinga. This reflects on the success of our DODO program which has enabled us to be here today and witness another milestone for the company and our partner."

The dealer and owner of the station, Mr. Mohammed Saleh Afiff expressed his gratitude for franchising with TotalEnergies, the leading fuel company in Tanzania through the DODO (Dealer Owned Dealer Operated) program and to have the first TotalEnergies service station in Kigamboni, "For long I had desired to work with TotalEnergies and today as partners we are launching the first station in Kigamboni with TotalEnergies brand in Kibada, Kigamboni. I am very thankful for this opportunity and ready to serve the people of Kigamboni with the best products and services".

The Commercial Director (Network) of TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania LTD, Marieme Sav Sow narrated the Kigamboni’s development that brought the partnership between the dealer, Mr. Mohammed Saleh Afiff and TotalEnergies to construct the service station in Kibada, "Kigamboni district has been one of the fast-growing districts in Dar es Salaam thanks to the Government's endless development strategies for the area including the Nyerere bridge, road constructions from Ferry to Kibada as well as the on-going construction of the road from Kibada to Mwasonga which attract investors to Kigamboni. As we witness today, it is through such developments that Mr. Mohammed Afiff and TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Limited saw the potential of having this station in Kibada."

The Kigamboni District Administrative Secretary, Honourable James Mkumbo upheld TotalEnergies for launching their first TotalEnergies service station in Kigamboni and urged more investors to partner with the company, "TotalEnergies has proven to hold the development of Tanzania and her people at the core of the company's heart and through the DODO program enable local investors, businessmen and women to further boost their revenues and the economy of the country.

He further thanked TotalEnergies for upholding its promise of ensuring to reach every Tanzanian with the best quality goods and products "I want to thank TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Ltd for continuing to strive to reach every Tanzanian with TotalEnergies products and services, for supporting the development of Tanzania through innovation, investment and increasing employment opportunities in Kigamboni through this service station."

The launch of TotalEnergies Kigamboni Service Station demonstrates TotalEnergies' commitment towards reaching every Tanzanian with high quality goods and services through the DODO program which invites partners to own and operate TotalEnergies Service Stations. And this yet another milestone and a path to another and more other DODO stations to come.
