On 27th May 2022, TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Limited launched Mapinga service station, located along Bagamoyo road which is a major highway that vehicles use to travel to up-country regions including Tanga, Korogwe, Moshi and Arusha.
The station is wholly owned by a Tanzanian, Mr. Jackson Elinafasi Swai and operated in partnership with TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Limited through the DODO (Dealer Own Dealer Operates) program. The program is designed to suit investors that have a plot or a service station which has all the license required by Tanzania’s authorities to operate the service station and would like to get into a partnership with TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Ltd to use their brand image.
Speaking during the event, the Network Development Manager, Adam Msangi addressed the benefits of the DODO program to businessmen and women in the country, “TotalEnergies Mapinga service station is adding to our footprint in Tanzania, serving the people of Mapinga and neighbouring communities with Excellium fuel, high quality lubricants, Service Bay as well as Bonjour shop.
